With this and the access to tools and technologies, there has never been a better time to empower the youth of Africa with the skills and support needed to build resilient businesses. By becoming business builders, the youth are well positioned to create economic opportunity, shape the world around them, create a new narrative and influence future outcomes.

The Bright Ideas Challenge 2020 seeks to find and fund the launch of a minimum viable product to market. It is a live business pitch event for which submissions are open from the 21st June to 19th July 2020. The challenge is open to 18 - 30 year olds in any of Africa's 54 nations and the live event takes place on the 16th of August 2020. It is ideal for those looking to realise the aspiration for business ownership and offers a cash prize and other start-up support, such as mentoring and developmental opportunities.
